Our 2020 Hometown Mission - Los Angeles is scheduled to take place this Summer (July/August) at our local partner surgical center. During this one-day surgical mission, our team of board-certified surgeons, recovery nurses and other medical professionals will be donating their time and skills to provide quality surgical care for up to 20 children. Please join and support us by referring eligible patients, available medical volunteers, or news platforms that can help us spread the word.
In these trying times filled with uncertainty, we have readjusted our mission schedule out of concern for the health and wellbeing of our volunteers and medical teams, and most importantly our immunocompromised cardiac patients. Our mission to Namibia has been postponed and our upcoming trip to Peru is being rescheduled for the fall. Armenia and Tanzania programs are currently in a holding pattern. We hope to deploy our teams as soon as it is safe to do so.

Overseas Surgical Mission
Our assembled surgical teams travel to developing countries on specialized missions to mend children in need of life-saving surgeries, and to train local surgical staff to create sustainable programs.
Individual Surgical Care
- US
Through partnerships with renowned hospitals, we bring children with complex surgical needs to the United States for treatment. While the child is here, they are placed with a loving host family that cares for all of their needs.
Hometown Mission
We provide outpatient surgical care to children living in the United States who do not have access to care by teaming with volunteer surgeons, nursing staff and local surgical centers.
Individual Surgical Care
- INTL
If surgery is not possible for a child in the United States or on a surgical mission, we arrange surgeries through partnerships with local hospitals in-country or in nearby countries.
Since 2005, we have mended children in over 66 countries, including the United States. Zooming on the map and see where we've been!
* Purple markers are countries where we led surgical mission trips in while blue markers are countries where we helped individual patients
